For example, in France it is 3 years, and you get your bachelor's degree, then 2 years, and you have a master, in Portugal it is similar… and one being a student realizes that there are many subjects that are not useful or could be optional according to your interests. I believe that you should be kinda able to choose from the beginning the approach you want to give to your future, what I mean by this is that, for example, we have many subjects of investigation, and not all of us want to dedicate ourselves to research.
